HOME DESTROYED.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) KERIKERI, Friday. One of the most serious fires of recent years occurred in Kerikeri in the earlv hours of yesterday morning, when the residence of Mr. E. P. Moir, in Uplands Road, was totally destroyed. The fire started in the kitchen and'awakened Mr. Moir, who was alone in the house. Mr. Moir escaped, but was unable to save any valuables. Sirs. Moir is absent in Wellington.
