PROPHETIC FILM.

REJECTED BY N.Z. CEXSOK. "Love in Exile" unwittingly proved itself somewhat of a prophet regarding matters of high estate —-too high, in fact—and thereby succeeded in getting itself censored by the Xew Zealand Censor. Plot of the film deals with a monarch who abdicated his throne for a beautiful woman whose reputation, the busybodies claim, i« not beyond reproach. And then—the title! i A British film, co-starring Clive Brook and Helen Vinson, the picture was produced in August, 1036. It was good screen fare before December, but censorable matter after that fateful month.
