JURY ADDS RIDER.
VERDICT OF ACQUITTAL. EX-SCHOOLMASTER'S CASE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. In the Supreme Court yesterday, John Reid, 58, a retired schoolmaster, was found not guilty on three charges arising out of an alleged attempted indecent assault on a boy of thirteen years. The jury, which deliberated for four hours, added the following rider: "It is the opinion of the jury that the accused should be kept under strict supervision by his family."
