Electro- ■ lytic Zincs particularly showed renewed • strength. ® A dull banking section saw no sales reu corded. New Zealands, with last business at £2 4/2, had sellers at that price, and buj*rs at £2 3/11. New Zealand Refrigerating seemed 0 , better, with buyers for the fully paAls at t; the last sale price of 19/4, quotations for l> contributings improving to between 8/10 0 and 9/. National Mortgage "A," which a have had no local business since January i> reported sales to-day at £2 13/, a reduc- £ tion of .5/6. The brewery section was given very good 0 support, New Zealands rising first to £3 1 and later selling at £2 19/10. Tooth's had |> a farmer inquiry at £2 17/7. (j Electrolytic Zincs rose 1/ for the ordiS nariestand 9d for the preferences, the 0 markets closing with buyers at £2 18/1 and £2 19/ respectively. Broken Hill Proprietary moved up 1/, , and Colonial Sugars 2/6. G. J.
