Severe cuts and abrasions were suffered by Miss Merle Choat, aged 21, of Anglesea Street, Hamilton, when the motor car in which she was travelling was involved in a collision with another car on the Morrinsville road at Newstead on Saturday night. She was taken to the Waikato Hospital.
