SHIPPING NEWS OF THE PORT.

PORT STILL BUSY.

WANGANELLA DUE EARLY. GOLDEN WEST REPORTS. BRISBANE MARU FOR JAPAN. Although a ]l vessels are berthed the port is still very busy, but on Friday the position will lip easier as several cargo ships will be* moving south. The Huddart-Purker motor vessel Wan»anella, which left Sydney on Saturday evening, will arrive early to-morrow, berthing at the Prince's wharf at 7 a.m. Slie has 175 passengers, mails and cargo and sailts on her return to Sydney at 3 p.m. on Friday with about 200 passengers. The American steamer Golden West reports that slip will arrive on Saturday. She is from Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles, with bulktimber and general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The Brisbane Maru will arrive on Thursday morning , from Napier to complete her loading and sails for Japan the same evening. Ardenvohr sailed yesterday afternoon for Wellington to continue discharge of New York cargo. (N.Z.S. Co.) Matua, which arrived from Western Pacific early yesterday, discharged the Auckland portion of her fruit and left for Wellington shortly after 11 p.m. (U.S.S. Co.)

Larchbank, which has been discharging phosphate from Ocean Island, left last ni«ht for New Plymouth to complete discharge. (B.T\C.) Manju Maru is discharging cargo from Japan at the Kind's wnarf and will leave for Wellington on Thursday. (R. and S., Ltd.)
