CARE OF FLOWER VASES.
Remember that fresh water is particularly necessary to your flowers in the summertime. Change the water everv other day. Have a few vases rather than many, and attend to them well. If a flower-vase smells at all unpleasant through haying had water and slimy stems left in it too long, rinse out well, then fill with salt and water. After a few minutes, the vase will smell quite sweet again.
