PROGRESS OF JOLLY BEGGAR.
Jolly Beggar jumped a round of the schooling hurdles at Riccarton a few days ago, his first acquaintance with the obstacles since last winter, and he gave a brilliant display. He is in great order to start on another winter jumping campaign. Waikato will be his first meeting, with Auckland to follow.
