FAREWELL MESSAGE. ARAWA TRIBE'S HOPES. EFFORTS FOR WORLD PEACE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, this day. A radio telegram was sent by the Arawa tribe to-day to the Prime Minister, the Right Hon. M. ,T. Tamatekapua, who in the Arawa canoe sailed the seas with hi»h hopes 600 years ago. so to-day the Aotearoa captain in the ship Arawa departs carrying the democratic banner of 11 is» 11 resolves, of goodwill, tolerance, equality and. if need be. sacrifices to mankind, with orderly and persevering service to the community within and the world at large. Fortified by the real spirit of true Christian principles our trust is that a balanced and contented world will be eventually achieved. We know you will guide the destiny of your ship with the same determination and skill as did Tamatekapua during his epic voyage, and when you reach that great country you will apyieal to the highest instincts of the British statesmen for the co-operation which they can give, which is so essential for the better solution of the stupendous problems of the humr.n race, in whose 111 teresis you have dedicated your life and energies. Haeremai to the na\ igat ing high priest of the Arawa canoe, in the person of the Hon. Walter Xasli. who awaits you beyond the <rreat ocean of Kiwa. with the log book well and truly chartered.
