ASSURANCE TO PRODUCERS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Thursday. "The Government has no intention of controlling the export of .baconers," states the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, in a letter to the chairman of the Waikato Buttermilk Pig Producers' Association to-day. I have stated on several occasions that the Government is unlikely to add to its present responsibility without serious cause."
