ANNUAL COMPETITIONS HELD. ' { HIGH STANDARD OF WORK. The annual Easter competitions of the St. John Ambulance Brigade were held at the Drill Hall, Rutland Street, this afternoon. Seventeen teams, representing Dunedin, Waikato and Auckland districts, took part. The events were keenly contested and a high standard of work was revealed. Those present included the commissioner for the district, Mr. C. J. Tiinks, the assistant commissioner, Mr. F. J. Hutchinson, district officers, Messrs. U. Hitchen, F. E. Schofield and C. W. Gooderham, and the senior district superintendent for Canterbury and the West Coast, Mr. T. F. S. Rudd. Corps officer R. K. Crawfield was in charge of the competitions.
