CONFERENCE TO BE HELD. LONDON, March 20. Mr. Rameay MaeDonakl replied to a question in the House of Commons to-day as to whether lie was aware that requirements for sugar in the seaeon 1937-38 were likely to be in excess of production, and whether he would suggest a postponement of the Sugar Conference. . Mr. Mac Donald eaid the statistical position had improved. Production capacity, however, still exceeded current consumption. There was no reason to postpone the conference.
