ITALY PIQUED.

Coronation Invitation to Haile Silassie. SATISFIED WITH COLONIES. (Received 2 p.m.) TRIPOLI, March 19. Italy will not be represented at King George Vl.'s Coronation because invitations were sent to Haile Silassie of Ethiopia, Signor Mussolini told the famous "Daily .Mail" journalist, G. Ward Price,, in a special interview here. Italy had no intention of concerning herself with Spanish affairs after the end.of the civil war, added II Duce. He expressed a desire for a settlement with Britain of questions relating to Kenya and the Sudan as had been already achieved in the case of Somalilnnd. "I declare-that from the colonial viewpoint Italy is satisfied," he said. "No difficulty will be put in the way of the co-operation of British concerns in the development of our Empire provided that all political questions arc first settled." A subsequent British official wireless dispatch, however, states that Italy, although not sending a special delegation to the Coronation, will be represented there by the Ambassador to London, Count Dino Graiuli.
