NON-AGGRESSION.

SCHOOL BOARD'S POLICY. AMALGAMATION QUESTION. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. In a statement last night Mr. C. L. MacDiarmid, chairman of the Board of Governors of the High School, said that the board had decided on a non-aggression policy regarding the pro. posed amalgamation of the Hamilton secondary schools. The board,- he said, was appointed not to deal with educational problems generally or for assisting the Department in its difficulties, but to govern the Hamilton High School, which it had done efficiently and well. It was not the board's business to take a band in the matter.
