AN OAKS' CANDIDATE.
MISSAL'S PROSPECTS. "ENTAIL MAY IMPROVE. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WANGANUI, Friday. W. Rayner is sending Missal to Auckland to fulfil her engagement in the Oaks. The Limond filly has gone on the right way since racing at Bulls, and hopes are entertained that she will run a good race in the classic event, as she shapes like one that should stay on. Entail showed a glimpse of his three-year-old form in running third in the Autumn Handicap at Trcntham,. after covering a lot of extra ground. Mr. G. M. Currie has all along expressed confidence that the son of Posterity would come good as a four or five-year-olflf,' and next season Entail may show his true worth. Sanhedrim did not show his true form at Trentham, but looks well, and should be seen to better advantage at Feilding next week. Now that the dates for the Wanganui Jockey Club's winter meeting have beer. definitely fixed for June 24 and 26, the committee intend issuing the programme at the earliest possible date. It is expected that the stake money will show a substantial incrase on the amount given •way last year. jjjJSpy disappointing Koura Rua ie now jIBEB twined by J.
