FATAL INJURY.
BOY'S FALL FROM TREE. TRAGEDY AT HAWKHA. (By Telegraph. -Own Correspondent.) HAWERA. this day. When playing with hi* elder brother in the orchard at hi* horn a at Hawcra on Thursday. David Milne, aged six, a, «on of Mrs. (iwyn Milne, fell from a tren and injured bis spine. The effect (if the fall wa«t not manifested until a few hour* later, when fomentations wer* apjMed to a swelling; across hi* hack. When the hoy wa* *ent to hospital yesterday morning internal bleeding wa« discovered and he died at 8.30 this morning. It is not known whether the hoy ]o*t his hold or whether a branch broke, although the nature of the injury indicated a heavy impact with the ground.
