BROADSIDING TO-NIGHT.
The Auckland Speedway Club will hold a broadsiding meeting at the Western Springs Stadium to-night, with a pro•rumme specially arranged to suit the .shopping public. A bo.\V scooter race will start at eight o'clock, but the main events will not commence until 8.30. Entrance charges have been considerably reduced. Some of the most interesting items will be trick-riding exhibition* by the wellknown American motor cyclist Putt Mobsman. In addition to driving over a moving motor car lie will give a demonstration of horseshoe pitching and attempt to lower hie record, of 23 second* for a lap with two blazing wul*.s or" timber as obstacles. In the broadsiding contests the 1037 elimination' meeting Jto select the leading riders for the New Zealand versus America test match will be the chief attraction. Entries from Wellington, Palmerston North and C'hristchurch will compete in addition to the Auckland rider.-.
