CHRISTMAS TOURNEY.
PLAY AT CARLTON GREEK". The «emi-final of the Christmas tournament will commence at Carlton green at noon to-morrow, in order to allow ample time for the final before dark, especially as a good many dead-heads may be expected in each game. The contending rinks are J. W. Tyeon, S. Wrigley, J. R. London, D. H. Heasey (Devonport) and G. Parkhouee, J. Anchor, S. R. Hawken. R. X. Pilkington (Hamilton), and in the iinal the winning rink of these will meet W. E. Oughton, J. C. Yeo, W. A. Lorain, W. H. Keatley (Rocky Xook). An early intimation in niven that a change has been made in the arrangements for the champion of champions. This usually begins on a Tuesday, but in order to avoid dashing with all the tournaments on St. Patrick's Day. particularly the very large Public Service tournament, it was decided to begin it on Monday on this o.casion. March 15. This plan lias now been altered, and the opening rounds will be played on the Carlton greens on Thursday, Starch 18, to be continued next day.
