MOTHERS' CLUB.
The first meeting of the year of the Mothers' Club of the Y.W.C.A. was held on Tuesday, Mrs. W. J. Hynes presiding. Several recommendations from the recent committee meeting were discussed, and arrangements were made for a picnic to be held at Titirangi. Soprano solos were given by Mrs. Asher, and contralto solos were rendered by Mrs. Simpson. Vocal duets by Mesdames Asher and Simpson were greatly appreciated. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Sherley and Pocoek.
