"ENFANT TERRIBLE."
MR. JORDAN AT GENEVA. ——— I I "La Tribune des Nations," of Geneva, published on January 28 the following tribute to Mr. W. J. Jordan, High Commissioner for New Zealand, and the Dominion's delegate at the League of Nations: —
"Mr. Jordan has become the enfant terrible of the Council of the League of Nations. Mr. Jordan follows very attentively the discussions in the Council, and if he is not completely in accord with his colleagues does not hesitate to say so in very energetic terms.
" 'Xew Zealand,' said a member of the Council, "intends to bring a new spirit to Geneva.' "
