OTAHUHU CLUB. The twelfth annual general meeting of the Otahehu Clnb wae held in the Gae Company's hall, Otahuhu, on Monday evening, and was well attended. Mr. 8. W. Hoi we, president, presided, and in moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-eheet mentioned that the clnb was to be congratulated on being able to show euch progress. The year 1996 wae the most successful in the history of the club. The election of officer* resulted ae follows: Patron, Mr. Norman Wade; president, Mr. S. W. House; captain, Mr. R. L. Brown; vice-captain, Mr. J. Ecclee; ladies' caiptain, Mis« K. Bryant; vicecaptain, Miss M. Wille; ladies' secretary, Mrs. E. McNeely: committee, Meaere. A. P. Amodeo. A. P. Eustace and B. O. Heather; honorary auditor, Mr. G. T. Mitchell; secretary, Mr. Chas. R. Reader. The opening day for the 1937 season was fixed for Saturday, March 20. when mixed foursomes will be played. H. Kirkwood, defeated J. P. Hornabrook, New Zealand amateur champion, and A. B. Our, winner of the recent professional
