HIGHER THOUGHT.
Another record attendance was present on Tuesday evening for the fortnightly social held at the Higher Thought Centre, Wellington Street An enjoyable programme of music and son» was presented. Among the artists were Miss Jenkins and Misses Doreen and June Churches, who contributed a cornet and mouth-organ duet. A quartet presented some exceedingly good incidental mus.c, Mrs. McCune acting as piano accompanist. Dnring the evenin" Mrs Chambers, one of the members, was presented with a beautiful bouquet of choice flowers.
A dainty supper, arranged by the hostess. Mesdame* Green and "Devenck, and the singing of "Auld Lang Syne' dosed the evening.
