DEATH OVER A KISS.
Clad in expensive furs, Princess Xigeradze has been put in prison in Mexico City to await trial on a charge of murdering her husband, Prince Vladimir Xigeradze, a Russian.
The princess, who is alleged to have shot her husband in the street after suspecting him of friendship with another woman, has been asking for her two children, from whom she was separated when her first marriage was dissolved.
She has been placed in a section of the prison known as the "squadron of death" because 18 murderesses are acc mmodated there.
Though assured that she will not be executed, as there is 110 death penalty in Mexico City, shs has been manifesting suicidal tendencies, and is closelywatched.
•She savs she allowed the prince 10 minutes in which to kiss her after seeing him leave her rival's home, and that when he refused she fired.
