' This was only a test, but it proved so successful that experiments have been 0 I started to develop this powerful aid to e crime detection. As soon as possible every police station n will be equipped with television appara■s tus, including special cameras and mobile e vans with receivers and transmitters, e Already experts working for Scotland ■ - Yard have transmitted over a 50-mile e radius, compared with the present 25 « miles used for entertainment purposes, e An authority on television told a Lonn don " Sunday Express" representative that the system will be perfected for police work within 12 months.
