LABOUR PARTY.
NEW FRANKTON BRANCH.
The newlv-formed Frankton branch of the New Zealand Labour party held its fortnightly session in the supper room of the Frankton Town Hall on Thursday evening. There was a good attendance. After the ordinary business had been disposed of, delegates to the Labour Representation Committee were appointed, as well as two trustees for the hanking account. Several matters were dealt with to further the welfare of the branch, and a social committee was set up to arrange entertainments, interesting discussions and other functions. Several names were submitted as members of the branch, which has already a membership of 57.
