HAND BLOWN OFF.
MAN'S SERIOUS INJURIES.

HAMILTON, Friday
Mr. Ernest Andrews, aged 52, married, a granger at the Public Works camp at Orini, had his right hand blown off this morning when some gelignite with which he was blasting exploded. He also suffered serious injuries to the left hand and was removed to the Walkato Hospital. His condition is reported to be fairly serious.
