AT HOME.
DEVONPORT TENNIS PARTY.
There was a large attendance of visitors on Tuesday afternoon, when the members of the Dovonport Lawn Tennis
Club held an At Home at their courts. Miss M. Mason, the convener of the ladies' committee, welcomed the guests. Afternoon tea was served in the pavilion, where the tables, decorated with red dahlias and African marigolds, were looking very gay.
At the conclusion of the afternoon prizes were presented by Miss M. Mason, the prize-winners being:—A. Mrs. F. Thomas, highest score; Mrs. W. Roberts and Mrs. V. McGregor, hidden numbers; B. Mrs. E. R. Cockayne, highest score; Mrs. Claude Knight and Mrs. Leslie Ryan, hidden numbers.
The committee who were responsible for the success of the afternoon comprised: Mrs. J. B. Hogan, Mrs. V. McGregor, Mrs. Owen Kelly, Miss Pearl Harty. Miss Edith Blackburn, and Mies Kath' Harty. Among those present were: Meedatnes A. B. Downing, J. Mason, E. F. Svenson, R. L. Neville, Norman Groves, J. M. Pollard. E. Badger. H. Osmers, R. Harvey, J. Redmond. E. T. Roberts, Lamont. J. Ford. A. E. Ovondon, K. Kendall, F. McCarthy. Warner. E. G. Rabp, T. Grant, R. Lush. K. Stairs. Paul Thompson, F. Venn, Boak, A. -Tones, R. Wood and Misses Glassev. McSkimmiiiß, Eileen Hogan, P. Phillips, Majorie Brett, Meg Everton, M. Da ins, Olive Stokes, M. Green, and M. Morgan.
