CLAIM FAILS

ACCIDENT AT TAKAPUNA. | The claim for damages brought by a Takapuna dairyman, John Herbert Teasdale (Mr. Hart), in the Supreme Court before Mr. Justice Callan and a jury of four, concluded yesterday afternoon in a verdict against the plaintiff. Mr. Teasdale was struck by a motor car driven bv Mrs. Phoebe Matilda Lewin (Mr. North) when crossing Hurstmere Road, Takapuna, and he claimed from her £17;" i general and £30 special damages. The jury returned a verdict for the defendant, the foreman saying that the plaintiff had not proved his case. His Honor entered judgment accordingly.
