REPAIRING A 22,000-VOLT CABLE.—This photograph, taken in Wheturangi Road, One Tree Hill, shows employees of the Auckland Electric Power Board doing preliminary Ivor k m repairing a joint in the 22,000-volt cable that links the Penrose station with The Drive, Epsom, distribution sub-station. The fault was due to the cable absorbing moisure. Men employed on this class of work must have sweatless hands.
