NEWSPAPER PROPRIETORS.
PRESIDENT RE-ELECTED,
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TIMARU, this day. At the meeting of the Newspaper Proprietors' Association last evening, Mr. C. W. Earle was re-elected president. The conference was favoured with fine weather, and, although the business occupied much of the delegates' time, most members found an opportunity for doing some sightseeing. All were agreed that the conference was one of the most successful yet held. Most of the delegates left for their homes to-day.
