TURF IN NEW .ZEALAND,

AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB.

ROTORUA, FOUR SOUTHERN PROGRAMMES

Half a dozen turf meetings are in progress in the Dominion this afternoon.

Of chief interest to Aucklanders is the running of the opening programme of the Auckland Trotting Club's February meeting, which will not be wound up until Wednesday.

The other meeting in this province is the Rotorua Racing Club's annual meeting, which terminates on Monday.

Southern patrons are catered for by the Poverty Bay Turf Club, Egmont Racing Club, Canterbury Park Trotting Club and Dunedin Jockey Club.
