FINANCIAL WORRIES.
NEW ZEALAND UNIVERSITIES,
(Received 12 noon.) SYDNEY, this day. Professor Hight, Professor ol History at Canterbury University College, who is en route to the Universities Conference at Adelaide, said that financial difficulties were causing university authorities much anxiety. "For some years our universities have been in need of money," he said. "Things now are improving a little as the present Government is very sympathetic towards education."
