STRUCK BY CAR.
CYCLIST VICTIM.
BOY FATALLY INJURED, ACCIDENT AT ELIiERSLIE. Admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from head injuries and a fractured skull, suffered when he was knocked off his bicycle near the corner of Green Park Road and Great South Road, Ellerslie, last night, a boy, Robert Thorloy, aged 15, of Fairfax Avenue, Penrose, employed in a glass works factory at Penrose, died this morning shortly before 11 o'clock. The accident occurred about 8.10 o'clock. The lad was riding towards Penrose when he was involved in a collision with a motor car travelling in the same direction. Jt had been raining a short time before.
The injured boy was attended to by Dr. K. F. Gordon, of Green Lane, and was later taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance.
