TRAINING FOR THE FARM.
Floek House has served its original purpose as a training: ground for sons of the British seamen of the war years, and from to-day it will be used to train young New Zealanders for life on the farm. The institution can point to a very proud record of over a thousand young men trained and placed in employment. Many have done remarkably well. for themselves, and many more are on the high road to successful careers. Under State; control Flock House will provide a very! I valuable training ground for the youth of the Dominion, and, as the Hon. Lee Martin! said in taking the farm over, it is probable that the success attained will 1 result in similar institutions being established will °f New Zealand - o ck House ,nd WOrker exactl >- w hat the 1™ ? Sehools m th « cities do for those n„aged in secondary industries, and in a country depending upon agriculture for its prosperity the need for development of this! I class of training is very clear. j
