NECrIaIGEN CE NOT PROVED.

A verdict of not guilty was returned by the jury yesterday in the Supreme Court, where Oscar Clausen, a farmer, of Whitford, was charged with negligently driving a motor car so as to cause the death of Isobel Burrows, a passenger in his ear. The case was heard before Mr. Justice Fair. Mr. Hubble appeared for the Crown, while Mr. Dickson represented the accused. The accident happened on April 27 last, when the car driven by accused and a motor truck, driven by Rangi Weke. col'tded at the interaction of East Tamaki Road and the Great South Koad. Mrs. Burrows suffered injuries from which she died.
