On the Sydney Stock Exchange to-day there was a marked increase in investment turnover and industrials displayed a much stronger front. Rises in base metal prices were reflected in greater strength in Mount Lyell and Barriers. Sales included:—
On the Melbourne Exchange the market was fairly quiet, with industrials steady. There was good support for G. J. Coles. Mount Lyells were firm on higher copper prices. Business included:—
