NEW BRANCH FORMED. A meeting was held in the home of -Irs. McLay, "Quambi," Titirangi, on Monday afternoon in connection witli the Women's Christian Temperance Union. Miss L. Read led the de\otions, reading the "Crusade Psalm." Miss C. M. McLay was the speaker for the afternoon, and after traversing the early history and progress of the° work throughout the world and in New Zealand a resolution was carried that a newbranch be formed in Titirangi. Miss j L. R*ad, district president, expressed ; her pleasure at the .inauguration of this I new branch, and wished the members every success. Miss A. McLay, the president, then gave ways and means by which all could do part to bring ! this success to pass. Afternoon tea was ! served and Mrs. Young closed the meet- I ing with prayer. |
