COMMITTEE'S INQUIRY. TASK ALMOST COMPLETED. (By Telegraph,—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. Several months ago the Hon. P. Eraser, Minister of Health, appointed a committee to make investigations into the incidence of septic abortion in the Dominion. Dr. McMillan, M.P., chairman of the Public Health Committee of the House of Representatives, Was appointed the chairman, and with -him vere associated Mrs. P. Fraser, Dr. T. F. Corkill, who is in private practice in Wellington, .and Dr. T. L. Paget, Inspector of Private Hospitals. The committee has secured a good deal of valuable expert evidence and has practically completed its work. Its report will soon tie in the hands of the Minister.
