COURAGE REWARDED.
CERTIFICATE PRESENTED. The' presentation of a certificate from ' the Royal Humane Society was made this week to Mies Mary Recce, of Hauraki Plain?, by -Mr. A. C. A. Sexton, il-P. for Franklin, at a gathering held in her honour at Manurewa. Miss Reeee received the award as a result of saving two small boys from drowning "t V,"eymoutli on January 2S of last Star.
