SPORTS PUT OFF.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS GALA. The Auckland Primary Schools' Athletic Association has decided that the annual sports gathering of the Auckland provincial primary schools, which was arranged for April IC, be postponed till April 20.
A recent issue of the "Moscow Daily News" publishes the following: "Written on a scrap of paper torn from a bill of fare in a hotel restaurant—'Citizen, by chance I have learned that you live in our hotel. Yesterday you had supper here, and on paying the bill left me a tip of five roubles. I am herewith attaching your five roubles, with the advice that you spend your money more rationally. "Don't forget, you are not dealing with a former barmen, but with a Soviet employee, a member of the Comimmial Catering Workers' Union and a student of the English Department of the State Institute of Foreign
