The ordinaries had a market between £2 14/9 and £2 15/, and i.he nii'fcrcnees changed hands at £2 16/6. 'I. •). Coles moved up still further, with buyers at £."i 0/3 and sellers asking £5 1/. Domestic issues were in lair request. Kindts sold unchanged at £2 0/0, ami Theatif , Arcades were quoted between 19/ j and 10/.1. A seller of Wilsons Cement I .K'lepti-d a tttl drop, at £1 18/6, and more wore, available at that figure. Government stocks were steady nt firm latrs. and the '43-"46's sold unchanged, at Cl'i.'i 17/6. G. J. Coles at £5 0/9. Theie was a steady How of orders throughout the morning, and a good sales was recorded at the noon call, including a number made in the room. Dominion Breweries' advance continued with sales reported at £2 3/6, and at the call there were buyers for both issues at £2 3/, but no sellers. In the banking section buyers of Commercial moved up to 19/8, and l.nions. were close to business with quotations from £10 10/ to £10 12/6. Pastoral shares were easier. Sellers of Dalgetye dropped their limits to £11 15/ without attracting a buyer, and Goldsliroughs were quoted lower between £1 18/ and £1 18/3. Buyers for Kauris moved up to £1 3/, and British Tobaccos had a buyer at £2 9/6. G~ J. Coles made further advances with sales at £5 0/9, and a later market between 4" 5 0/6 and £5 2/.
