Although the wickets were a trifle soft after Friday's heavy rain there was again gome excellent scoring in the Auckland Cricket Association's senior competition on Saturday. At stumps the positions of the games, the opening series of the second round, were:— Eden, 109, v. North Shore, 233 for six Y.M.C.A., 333, v. Ponsonby, 22 for no wickets. Parnell, 330. v. King's Old Boys, 53 for one. Grafton, 169. v. L Diversity, 59 for two. The outstanding individual performances were: — Batting—H. G. Vivian (Parnell), 145; I. W.
