FLATTENED PILLOWS.

■ Every housewife knows how disappointing it is to find pillowe getting a heavy, depressed look. A good plan to keep them fresh and healthy is to unstitch a corner of the pillow, insert an air pump (an ordinary bicycle punip will do) and inflate the pillowTake care to hold the pillow tightly round the nozzle to guard against the escape of feathers. Then carefully etiteh the corner again. It will be found that the pillowy will be as eoft and fresh ag 'new. ' If this process is repeated at inter l vals there will be no more lumpy pillows.
