TWENTY-FIRST BIRTHDAY.

Mfs. P. D. England was hostess at adelightul party given at her residence, Oakland Avenue, -■ St. John's Hill, Wanganui, recently, to celebrate the coming of age of her niece. Miss Marie Nation, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Nation, of Auckland. There were 35 young people present, and the evening was spent in dancing in the spacious rooms cleared for the occasion. A delicious buffet supper was served in the reception rooms, and exquisite flowers made the house gay, while the pretty garden effectively illuminated for the occasion made a delightful walk in between dances.
