RADIO WORKERS.
AWARD CLAIMS DISCUSSED. LITTLE AGREEMENT SO FAR. Award claims for radio workers are being heard in Conciliation Council to-day before the Commissioner. Mr. R. E. Price. The hearing had been adjourned earlier in the month. Up till the luncheon adjournment little progress had been made, agreement being reached onlv in a few minor clauses.
The applicant union is the Auckland Electrical Workers' Union, whose assessors are Messrs. K. Simpson (secretarv). P. H. Matthews. T. McKnight and R.*E. Grainger. The employers are represented bv Messrs. W. E. Anderson. I). Lewis. W. J. Smeeton and E. R. Butler.
