The Raukokore Bridge, on the new East Coast scenic highway between Opotiki and Gisborne, via Cape Runaway, is about to be erected by Mr. J. G. Kerr, of Opotiki, the contract price being £6577. The bridge will be the last -major work on the new road, the remaining streams requiring only small structures.
