STORM AT KARAKA BAT. At Karaka Bay, near the mouth of the Tamaki River, there'are a number of seaside summer homes and the residents there considered that the night was the worst that they had ever experienced. The bay got the full force of the wind. Two small boats were thrown up on the beach and damaged.
