Here is a competition to test your powers of observation. What do yon think this boy is doing > You will be able to guess from die attitude in which he is sketched, the artist having purposely left out die details that would give any clues. Word your answers in the following way: "I think the boy is . . . And then add one sentence giving the reason for your decision. In the event of ties the prizes will go to the neatest and best-worded entries. Write your name, age and address on your entry and send it to PETER PAN. "STAR" OFFICE, AUCKLAND, C.l. Entries should arrive by Saturday, January 16, for town readers, and Monday January 18 for country competitors. Results will be published on Wednesday, January 20. Readers are reminded that the editor's decision must be accepted as final. Each winner may select his or her own reward from the prizes offered in the list below:— Boxes of Coloured Picture Blocks, Cellophane-framed photographs of His Majesty the King, Miniature Book Shelf D Star . Special R.O.G. Monoplane Kitset, Double-decker Pencil Cases, Boomerang Mouth Organs, Table Tennis Sets, Stationery Boxes, Fancy Propelling Pencils, Penknives, Adventures of Mickey Mouse (in colour, for little ones), Painting Books Story Books (for little ones), and Box of 100 Assorted Coloured Marbles.
