KAIWARRA FOR NEWCASTLE. PORT STILL VERY BRISK. AWATEA DUE MONDAY FORENOON. The Union S.S. Co.'s steamer Kaiwarra sailed shortly after midnight last night for Newcastle. The port is still busy, though several vessels have sailed or arc to t=ail to-day. During the week-end three cargo vessels arc due and the Union Company's express liner Awatea will arrive on Monday forenoon from Sydney, for which port she leaves at 5 p.m. 011 Tuesday. Matua leaves Wellington to-day for Auckland p>id is due on Monday after- j noon, sailing for the Islands at 5 p.m. ! on Tuesday. (U.S.S. Co.) Waipiata is due to leave this afternoon for Wellington and South Island ports. (U.S.S. Co.) Aorangi is due from Vancouver on Sunday week, sailing for Sydney on Monday, January 18, at 10 p.m. (U.S.S. Company.) Sir Karl Knudsen completed her discharge of petrol and sailed early this morning for Sumatra. (T.O. Co.) Siberoet advises that she will arrive from Java with r. cargo of raw sugar early in the morning. (R. and S., Ltd.) Limerick is due from Vancouver and Island ports to-morrow. She has 1230 bags of mail on board. (U.S.S. Co.( Port Waikato arrived yeeterday afternoon from CofT's Harbour, New South Wales, with a cargo of hardwood. (N.S.S. Co.) Melbourne Maru leaves Wellington this afternoon for Auckland. She is due on Monday morning and saib* for Japan direct late the same evening. (F. Co-op.) Tainui is due on Monday morning from Wellington to commence loading for London. (A.S.P.) Rangitane will leave for Wellington at ;» p.m. to-day for final loading, sailing on January 14 for London. (N.Z.S. Co.) Port Alma will leave on Wednesday evening for Waikokopu. (F. Co-op.) Canadian Constructor will leave at 6 p.m. to-day for Wellington to continue her discharge. (N'.Z.S. Co.)
