FINGERS SEVERED.

HAND CRUSHED IN ROLLER. When his hand was crushed in si roller a paper worker, Air. Harold Brook, aged 22, a married man, of 40, Ponsonby Road, employed by the Australian Glass Company, Limited, at Penrose, had four fingers of his right hand amputated. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. This is the second case' in the last two days in Auckland when a factory worker has had four fingers severed in machinery. A worker in a box factory at Morningside was the other case.
